In serving as the Lift and Control Surfaces Engineer, Lauren is in charge of designing the best ways to build and connect all lift and control surfaces. As Meeting Coordinator she is also responsible for taking meeting minutes and distributing them to team members. Laurn are also schedules all team member only meetings in conjunction with the Project Manager.
As the Fuselage/Payload Engineer, Joseph is in charge of designing the fuselage of the plane, and making sure it meets all the requirements regarding securing the propulsion system and payload. In being the Financial Officer he is in charge of keeping the project within budget. When necessary he is also in charge of drafting proposals for more funding.
Jacob serves as the Project Manager and is the point of contact for the team. He is responsible for submitting all team assignments. As Manufacturing and Materials Engineer, Jacob is responsible for the materials research associated with the project, and for determining the ideal fabricants to complete the final design. He is also responsible for making sure all designed parts are printable, and operating the 3D printers. Jacob also queues and picks up any parts printed at FSU’s Innovation Hub.
