Bio: Brendan Keane is the team leader for this project. He was born in New York but raised in South Florida.
He is a senior Mechanical Engineer graduating in May 2015. He has completed 3 summer internships at NextEra Energy, a leading energy company.
However, after graduation he plans to start his career in the aerospace and defense industry.
The team leader is responsible for overall group organization, assigning tasks to
teammates, developing a timeline for the project and adhering to that timeline.
The team leader will serve as the primary communication link between the
sponsor and the team. The team leader takes the lead in organizing, planning,
and setting up of meetings. If any sort of conflict arises the team leader will work
to find a solution in the best interest of the sponsor, team members and project.
In addition, he is responsible for keeping a record of all correspondence between
the group and ‘minutes’ for the meetings. Finally he gives or facilitates
presentations by individual team members and is responsible for overall project
plans and progress.
Financial Advisor – Reginald Scott

Bio: Reginald B. Scott Jr. is a Florida A & M student from Atlanta, Georgia.
He is a senior Mechanical Engineering Major with emphasis in thermal fluids.
Reginald has plenty of work experience including two internship opportunities.
One of which was with T. E. C. T. Power and another with Nestle Waters. Reginald
is scheduled to graduate with his B.S. in the spring of 2015.
The financial advisor is responsible for managing the budget, placing orders, and
recording all expenditures as it pertains to the project. The financial advisor will
be in charge of working with the school and the sponsor when placing orders.
The financial advisor is also responsible for managing the inventory of all parts,
materials, and assets.
Fabrication Advisor and Web Developer – Logan McCall

Bio: Logan McCall is a Florida State student that was born and raised in Panama City, Florida.
He is a senior Mechanical Engineering student that plans on graduating in the fall of 2015.
His background comes from previous work experience throughout college, and plans on joining
working community upon graduation.
The fabrication advisor will be responsible for developing CAD models and
drawings as well as maintaining correspondence with the school and sponsor’s
machine shop. The fabrication advisor will be in charge of maintaining product
control and quality assurance of all materials received from the machine shop or
external vendors.
Administrative Coordinator – Mark Swain

Bio: Mark Swain is the administrative coordinator for this project.
His hometown is Daytona Beach, Florida.
Mark is a senior Mechanical Engineering student graduating in May 2016.
He has had multiple research opportunities at the Florida State University
including studies of sensible heat thermal storage systems, as well as the manufacturing
of ceramic nanocomposite materials. After graduation, he plans to pursue his Master’s degree
as part of Florida State University’s BSMS program.
The administrative coordinator is responsible for coordinating meeting times with
the sponsor and faculty advisor. The administrative coordinator is also
responsible for recording the highlights of group meetings and making those
notes accessible to all members. The administrative coordinator will ensure that the
group is fully prepared for all presentations with the proper attire, knowledge
of the subject matter, and punctual.
