Firearm training and marksmanship has been an important focus for police and military training process.
Group 21 has been tasked by their sponsor, Jason Knowles- CEO of Hard Target Security Group and Sea Target Systems LLC
to further advancements in training technologies. From his experiance in marksmanship training for police and
special ops teams, Knowles realized a lack in specialized maritime training systems and procedures. From these needs he
designed his concept to incorporate crucial factors such as stress, instinct, and environment into maritime firearm training.
Under faculty advisement from Dr Gupta and Dr Hooker, Group 21 is constructing this target training system to the specifications
of Jason Knowles.

Goal Statement
The goal of this project is to improve and optimize the design of the turning mechanism of the
maritime sea target system, while maintaining the lightweight, affordable, and practical functions of the existing design.
