Arthur is from Madison, Wisconsin. He will graduate in April 2016 with a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering. He has spent the last two summers interning with Emerson Climate Technologies in the Scroll Compressor Engineering Department. He has two dogs at home.
Conner is from Jacksonville, FL. He is graduating from FSU with a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering and a Minor in Business. Conner owns a small business in addition to school and a part time job. He is interested in mechanical and suspension systems, particularly in two-wheeled applications. Conner has several fish at home.
Justin is from Jacksonville, FL. He will graduate in April 2016 with a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering. He has been a member of the SAE for 3 years and is currently the captain for the Baja team in the 2015-2016 season. His field of interest is aerospace/aeronautics.
Zach is from Apopka, FL. He will graduate in April 2016 with a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering. Outside of the classroom, Zach works in the CoE Machine Shop and as an Engineering Technician with superconductors. He plans on pursuing a career in Sustainable Engineering. He, sadly, has no pets.
Galen was born and raised in Tallahassee, FL. He has three years of Lab technician experience maintaining cryogenics in NMR superconducting magnets at the National High Magnetic Field Laboratory. He will be completing his B.S. in Mechanical Engineering in April 2016 and his Master's Degree in the BSMS program.
The sponsor for Team 20, Gordon H. Hansen, AICP, has more than 30 years of experience as a city planner for the private and public sectors. A utility cycling advocate, Gordon developed the patent concept for the Reciprocating Lever Transmission for the purpose of increasing the leg power available to utility bicyclists, and potentially decreasing pedaling related knee injuries. Gordon has recently completed the Entrepreneurial Excellence Program sponsored by the Economic Development Council of Tallahassee and Leon County - and is currently working closely with Team 20 and the FAMU-FSU College of Engineering to advance potential market applications for utility bicycles.
