Dr. Ordonez Advisor
Dr. Ordonez is the adviser for the team. He graduated in 2003 from Duke University with a Ph.D in Mechanical Engineering with a special focus on Thermodynamic Optimization. Dr. Ordonez will help the team throughout the year to overcome all the problems that will be presented on the way to accomplishing the final goal of the project.
Warren Bell Lead Researcher and Developer
Warren Bell is a third year intern at Myco Trailers LLC. He is proficient in Excel, MATLAB, MathCAD, Kubotek Keycreator, and Creo 2.0 (Pro-e) and will be graduating from the Florida State University with a BS in Engineering in Mechanical Engineering in May 2015 with a 3.0 GPA.
Daniel Baker Financial Leader
Dan Baker is a senior in Mechanical Engineering with an aerodynamics focus. Dan worked as a laboratory assistant in the cryogenics laboratory at the National High Magnetic Field Laboratory during his sophomore year. After graduation he will be moving to Ann Arbor, Michigan to start his career while obtaining an MBA.
Daniel Carnrike Efficiency Analyst
Daniel Carnrike will graduate from Florida State University College of Engineering in May 2015. Daniel Carnrike has developed a passion for thermal fluid science and will be specializing in Fluid Mechanics and Heat Transfer upon graduation. During his educational career, Daniel has worked as a Mechanics of Materials and Dynamics teaching assistant. Also, he was a researching assistant at CAPS working on nanofluids. After graduation, Daniel will be attending graduate school to further his education in fluid mechanics.
Kyle Fields Team Leader
Kyle Fields is a senior Mechanical Engineering student at the Florida State University with a focus in Fluid Mechanics and Heat Transfer. Kyle has previously interned for Cummins as an Application Engineering Intern in the Filtration division located in Cookeville, TN. After graduation, he plans to start a career utilizing his engineering background to get his PE license. He also plans on getting an MBA and eventually owning his own consultant business in the future.
Marvin Fonseca General Designer
Marvin Fonseca is a senior Mechanical Engineering student at Florida State University with experience in manufacturing. He has a wide understanding of how manufacturing facilities are organized and what kind of machinery are implemented for different processes; with this knowledge he will be able to come up with different ideas to reduce energy consumption. He is in charge of the web design and development, also he is in charge of any CAD design and prototyping for the project.
