TECT is one of the leading aerospace manufacturing
industries in the United States. They manufacture and design
manufacturing processes from designs from their clients such as GE and
Boeing. TECT Power, one of TECT’s subsidiaries, focuses on
the design and manufacturing of engine and turbine (both power
generating and propulsion) parts. With five manufacturing facilities in
Cleveland, Cincinnati, Santa Fe Springs, Thomasville, and Utica; TECT
Power is able to handle the various needs of their clients from process
design, to forging, to machining and finishing.
TECT Power’s Thomasville, GA
plant maintains a primary focus on fan blades and guide vanes for jet
turbines, while simultaneously manufacturing other parts with their
state of the art 5-axis autonomous mills. Receiving raw forgings from
TECT’s Cleveland facility, the Thomasville plant machines
parts to shape, fine-tunes them, applies surface finishes, and tests
them for design tolerance as well as any other testing that their
client requests before delivering the finished parts.
