| As part of the Mechanical Engineering curriculum at the Florida State
College of Engineering, students are required to complete a one year Senior Design Project. The two semester year is comprised of: system
design, semester 1, and completion of a working prototype, semester 2, each semester requiring frequent project presentations and design package reports.
One zany group was given the ability to work on a very special Senior Design Project, a BattleBot. Yes, a group of immature,
reckless, college students was actually allowed to dabble with a potentially dangerous and
destructive remote control toy.
