Figure 1

Pictured in figure 1 is a CAD model of our current liquid nitrogen level meter.  We strived to develop the simplest, most effective design possible.  The meter housing is a two piece unit machined from G-10.  The vents allow the liquid nitrogen to come in contact with the YBCO filament.  The top of the unit is threaded to fit a .635 inch opening.  This is a standard size for liquid nitrogen tanks.

Pictured in figure 2  is a CAD model of the cap that supports the delicate YBCO filament.  It is also machined out of G-10.  This cap is located in the upper portion of figure 1.
