Dot Decimal, a Florida based radiation therapy company, is sponsoring a Florida State University senior design project.
Our team will help them develop an automated system that will load and unload apertures from the nozzle of a Mevion S250 proton therapy system.
This website will exhibit our design process throughout the Fall 2015 & Spring 2016 semesters.

Sarah Sweat is from Longwood, Florida and is pursing her BSc in Mechanical Engineering at the Florida State University. She studied abroad during her freshman year in London for four months, and has held multiple leadership positions on campus since. Her current roles are working for the FSU Office of International Programs as a Student Recruiter, as the Finance Chair for Dance Marathon at Florida State University, which is a student run philanthropy raising over $1 million annually for sick and injured kids. Sarah has interned with Cummins, Inc. and Ford Motor Company during previous summers, and her plans after graduation are to return to Ford Motor Company, participating in their Ford College Graduate Rotational Program in Southeast Michigan.
Morgan O'Rorke

Morgan O’Rorke is a 4th year undergraduate student, pursuing his BSc in Mechanical Engineering at the Florida State University. He is from Miami, Florida and likes to play soccer and go to the gym in his spare time. He currently works at the High Performance Materials Institute at the Florida State University as an Undergraduate Research Assistant. His academic interests include programming, composites, and nanotechnology. After graduation, Morgan is interested in a career focused on aerospace.
