Senior Design 2014-2015

Team 5, which consists of five senior mechanical engineering students at FAMU-FSU College of Engineering, has been assigned by Danfoss Turbocor to devise an alternative method of lift their new compressor to the testing position utilizing existing crane. This must be executed in a manner that is safe and reliable, while retaining the originial gantry track and frame.

Danfoss Turbocor Compressors are transforming the commercial HVAC market with innovative technology that redefines lifetime operating costs for mid-range chiller and rooftop applications.

Team 5 has successfully completed their senior design project, winning an award for "Best overall senior design project".

May-June

Turbocor was pleased with our results and plan on implement our product within the coming months.
