Senior Design Fall 2012 - Spring 2013
Our project this year was to design, fabricate, and fly a working remote controlled aircraft capable of completing three successful missions.
The purpose of the first mission is for the aircraft to take off with in a thirty foot square marked on the runway and fly as many laps as possible with in four minutes. This will be done without any internal or external payloads.
The purpose of the second mission is to store as many simulated internal payloads (model rockets) safely inside the aircraft as possible and complete three laps.
The purpose of the third mission is to fly three laps as fast as possible with a random configuration of internal and external payloads as determined by a roll of a die.
