Member Bios
William Chapman
William Chapman is a Tallahassee native. His interests are video games and
o-rings. He works at the Magnet
Lab’s superconductivity center where he has learned a great deal of
machining techniques. He recently
accepted a job in South Georgia involved in
computer programming for a power plant systems modeling company. He will be living in Jacksonville Florida
because he wants to stay in the city.
Giovanni Dinitto
Giovanni Dinitto is a native of Pensacola,
FL, who began his college career at the University of West Florida. Initially the focus of his
an education towards a degree in business, but upon arrival to Florida State University
in 2005, his focus moved toward the field of engineering. He currently is
employed with two engineering firms, Engineering Investigations LLC and
Environmental and Geotechnical Specialists, but his career path is directing
him towards the energy sector.
Justin Mariniak
Justin was born and raised in Jacksonville Florida. His junior summer internship exposed him
to HVAC system design where he developed an interest. He was heavily exposed to AutoCAD during
this time and learned the program basics.
His plans are to find work in Florida
if possible within this industry.
Kristin Scheel
Kristin
was born and raised in South Florida and hopes to return there after completion
of her master degree at Florida
State University.
She is currently enrolled in the BS-MS program and doing research at the
Advanced Aero Propulsion Lab under the guidance of Dr. Faruhk Alvi. Her work includes a teacher's assistant ship for the
Experimental Fluids lab as well as doing research towards the development of a
wall climbing robot with flight capabilities as a Micro Air Vehicle (MAV).
Kristin hopes to put her research to use in the defense industry working on the
development of UAVs. She is scheduled to graduate
with her masters degree in Mechanical Engineering and minor
in math in the spring of 2010.
