Above:  The initial assembly, using 2 electromagnets to oppose permanent magnets. 

Below:  The final assembly, showing the new arrangement of a single electromagnet positioned behind the platform.  In this arrangement, the electromagnet attracts the steel plate mounted on the rear of the platform.  Also shown are the spacers used to raise the motor to the correct height.
