The schedule enabled the group to get tasks done in a timely manner and helped the team to reach the goals set by the client.
Some activities were scheduled to run concurrently and the group was split into pairs in order to complete each activity. For example, two members performed Cost Analysis while the other two researched different Plastics. Concurrent activities were necessary to make allowances for other activities that would be more time consuming or were reliant on two or more previous tasks. The schedule is shown below.

The Schedule shows a breakdown of the activities in terms of number of weeks designated for each activity. From September 18 to October 9, the team modeled parts using Pro-Engineer software. Cost analysis and materials research were performed between October 9 and October 30. The group developed concepts from November 6 to November 13. Concept evaluation was done from November 13 to November 20. The group presented concepts to Alliance Laundry Systems on November 14.
