Project Description

This project addressed a challenge in the DEVCOM company involving a drone powered by Raspberry Pi. While initially developed in the DEVCOM lab, other departments faced difficulties using it due to a lack of a user-friendly interface. Our goal was to create a simpler interface using Python Django on a Raspberry Pi 4, enabling easy access to essential information. The main objective of this project was to design, develop, and implement a user-friendly web interface to control and collect data from a drone via a Raspberry Pi 4.

The motivation behind this initiative was to relieve the burden on the DEVCOM lab and enhance overall company productivity. The outcome was successful – we crafted a user-friendly interface, complete with a login page for added security. This interface allows employees from various departments, even those without expertise in drone operations, to effortlessly perform required tasks.

By streamlining the drone's basic functions, we've achieved a more collaborative and efficient work environment. This project not only benefits individual departments but also contributes to the company's overall effectiveness. The simplified interface ensures that employees can access and operate the drone without extensive training, fostering a more inclusive and productive workplace.
