Thank you for accepting our invitation to participate in our seminar series.  We really appreciate it.

Audience:  Mainly Mechanical Engineering Graduate Students with diverse backgrounds: Mechanics & Materials, Thermal-fluids, Dynamics & Control. 
Place:   Room A-226, College of Engineering  (next to ME Main Office).
Time:   Seminars are from 4:15pm-5:00pm, cookies and coffee are served from 4:00-4:15pm.
Technical Issues:
  • The seminars are streamed online, so we kindly ask the speakers to send us their presentation one day in advance or at the latest the morning of the seminar (to Ms. Andrea Stanley stanley@eng.fsu.edu , Phone: (850) 410-6155) to have enough time to upload the presentation.  Note that  the seminars presentations will be stored electronically. If for any reason you do not want your presentation to be stored in our database,  please let us know.

 

  • If you have special files (other than plain Powerpoint or pdf) please let us know in order to  make sure that they play correctly in our computer or if not,  to have time to connect your own computer to the system.
Travel Info: - Tallahassee regional airport  (TLH) is about 10 minutes drive from the College of Engineering.

- Hotel options DoubleTree Hotel downtown Tallahassee or Residence Inn by Marriot near FSU.  Billy's suggestion, but feel free to explore other options.
